I have been a seamstress and sewer for several years. I am proficient in programs like Photoshop and Illustrator alongside most traditional mediums for art. Education

August 2013 - September 2017
Laguna College of Art and Design, Laguna Beach - BFA in Illustration with
Entertainment Emphasis

At LCAD I worked with other artists to study illustration and design. The approach to
learning at the school was studying fundamentals like Draftsmanship and Figure Drawing. Once we
proved to have a fundamental understanding of how to draw we went on to learn from professionals
in the field about topics like Environment Design and Visual Storytelling. But the most important
skills I learned while there was how to take critique and how to build up stamina to work on long
projects.

October 2020 - June 2020

FIDM - Advanced Studies Program for Film and TV Costume

At FIDM I learned how to be a proficient Costumer for Film Projects. Here I  honed my character design skills to be applicable for the field. I learned how to manage and maintain a costume department, acquire and search for resources, and how to construct costumes. During my time at FIDM I learned to do things like dying fabrics, tailoring, and distressing in a timely manner for film and theater. Researching costume periods was also a major focus as those are areas of my greatest interest.
